Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural |
I started rubbing this oil on my belly towards the end of my introductory trimester to assist relieve such a lot of itching due to my skin begining to stretch. I didn’t anticipate it to ward off any stretch marks since I am very prone to them, I am covered in stretch mark scars from when I went through puberty, and everything I read says there is not one thing you may do to prevent stretch marks whether or not it’s in your genes to get them. Well, that is total BS because I have no stretch marks on my belly at all (I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant), but I have galore on my hips and on my boobs which are only a small engorged. I may still fit into my prepregnancy bras though they are a small snug, so plainly the skin on my belly has stretched way more than my boobs and the only difference is the oil.
I read one reviewer who complained that there was vitamin e in this oil but there isn’t. I checked the ingredients on my bottle (bought from Amazon.com) and there is no vitamin e listed, Amazon just needs to update their info.
I will be giving this to each friend who is expecting.
I applied this product every morning and night when I was pregnant with my daughter. It has a lovely scent and was very comforting as a stretch oil, massage oil, and it even helped with dry skin on my arms. I highly commend this and all the Earth Mama Angel Baby productions – specially the nipple butter and bottom cream.
I wanted to wait until after I had my baby before I wrote my review of this merchandise Let me start out off by saying I am in the medical field and have perpetually been told that stretch marks are hereditary. My mother and sister both have stretch marks, but I wasn’t going down without a fight, so after reading the reviews on this product, I ordered it is I applied it across my entire pregnancy…EVERY morning and EVERY night. I started using it at in regards to 8 weeks pregnant. I am so happy to inform any individual who is in doubt of this product that I did not get 1 stretch mark!!!! I was so astonished considering that my mother and sister both have them. For those who are wondering, I carried my baby for 37 4/7 weeks with not one stretchie! whether or not you use the product it WILL work!!!
Pros: mild scent, good consistency, east-to-use spray applicator
Cons: can feel thin layer on your skin after application
Review:
I have to be honorable and say that I don’t like oily things on my body. I’m just not a fan of sentiment greasy. This rule applies to suntan oils, massage oils and baby belly oils (hey, I’m not prejudice!). So, when Earth Mama Angel Baby asked me to undertake it out I wasn’t too excited. After all, I would have to rub something with the word “oil” in the title onto my skin.
When I opened the bottle and took a sniff (with my super-sensitive pregnant nose) I was happy to find that the scent was super mild, nearly nonexistent. This was a big positive for me.
I utilized two pumps of the oil in the palm of my hand and then applied to my 24-week-pregnant belly. I was pleasantly surprised that the oil was not too watery so it didn’t run everywhere. I genuinely applied two more pumps of the oil to make certain I got enough on the sides of my stomach towards my back.
Now, the big test for me was how greasy it felt after application and how long it stayed greasy. It left a very thin layer of oil on the top of my skin. I asked my hubby to feel to make sure I wasn’t being overly sensible but he could feel it, too. I went ahead and put on my pajamas and climbed into bed. About 30 minutes later the oil had fully absorbed into my skin. Not too bad for an oil product!
Actually, I have continued to use Earth Mama Angel Baby Belly Oil in the evenings and, so far, no stretch marks! I would recommend this product to my pregnant friends, particularly if they don’t have an aversion to oil like I do.
In addition, I plan to bring this oil with me to the hospital so that my nurse and/or husband can use it during labor for a perineal massage. I actually don’t want to have another episiotomy!

I purchased this oil for my basi child (who I’m still pregnant with) and I was excessively affected emotionally for something organic that would prevent my stretch marks. I knew I was doomed for them, as my mom and grandmothers all had them, but I wanted to make them a little less worse. After only TWO USES of the oil, I formulated a very itchy rash that my doctor referred to as “Pups” all over the areas that I applied the oil on; my back, shoulders, stomach and legs. There was no more sensible spot then the next which confident me it was the oil. It smelled good, but the nuisance was unbearable, so I had to waste my money and stop using its I then switch to this big, lame bottle of cocoa butter as a temporary replacement until I found something new (I bought it for $2 flat at Walmart) and to my surprise, it actually cleared the stretch marks that I already had within A WEEK of usages My advice, skip the fluffy “pregnancy appeal” because it is not sensitive to pregnant skin. Go with good old fashion cocoa butter or 100% cocoa butter sticks which will do the trick more efficiently and gently. It will in addition cost you a lot less.
I employed this oil last time I was pregnant and I have no stretch marks. The price is the same here as it is through Earth Mama Angel Baby; however, you get free shipping here if you spend $25. I recommend buying at least two bottles…you’ll go through a lot of it in the last few months when your belly is large!
It Actually worked. I applied this starting at about 12 weeks and only once a day due to the cost. I was large by the end of the pregnancy (measuring two weeks ahead)and I had no stretch marks. This was commended to me by a friend who employed it and also had no stretch marks.
I bought this product when I ran out of another belly cream during pregnancy. It has a light, natural smell and really sinks into my dry, itchy skin, where other creams sit on top. I like that you can also use it for perineal massage, etc.
The vendor shipped on time, and the product arrived in good condition.
I used this stuff with all 3 of my kids and am going to use it when i get farther along with this 4th child….I have no stretch marks and i give it credit for even saving my tatoo’s on my stomach…this stuff is awsome ..and being Vegan this stuff is all natural and smells good ..well worth it….you will love it..PROMISE
mild, light floral smell that is very pleasant, not irritating–from somebody who buys mostly fragrance free merchandise and hates almost all perfumes.
